With over two decades of hands-on experience in the beauty and wellness industry, founder and lead instructor Brianne Carnegie, brings a rich blend of elite craftsmanship, deep clinical knowledge, and dedicated mentorship to her role as Creator and Head Instructor of Kootenay Esthetics Academy.

Her journey in esthetics began at the prestigious Blanche Macdonald Centre, where she earned her Certificate in Makeup Artistry in 2002, followed by her Diploma in Esthetics in 2005. Over the last 24 years, she has refined her technique and approach across every tier of the industry - from delivering high-end treatment experiences in luxury spas to shaping the next generation of beauty professionals as an instructor at recognized colleges.

 

Today, as the owner and lead operator of Kaslo Cosmetics & Spa, she actively balances full-scale client care and business management with top-tier technical skill. Driven by a passion to remove geographical barriers to quality training, Brianne founded Kootenay Esthetics Academy to bring accessible, high-caliber beauty education directly to rural communities. By combining rigorous standard-setting with practical, real-world instruction, she empowers aspiring technicians in the Kootenays to build thriving, sustainable careers close to home.
